Terms & Conditions
The Wine Trail is a seasonal celebration across Niagara’s Benchlands. Each ticket provides access to tastings at five (5) participating wineries, a seasonal food pairing at each stop, and five bottles of wine to take home (one per winery).
1. Eligibility & Admission
– Must be 19 years of age or older to participate. Valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.
– Each ticket admits one (1) guest for the specified event date. For one (1) wine tasting, food pairing and bottle of wine at each participating winery.
– Tickets are non-transferable unless expressly permitted by the organizers in advance.
2. Ticket Inclusions
– Five (5) wine tastings — one (1) at each participating winery.
– One (1) food bite per winery, paired with the wine tasting.
– One (1) bottle of featured wine from each participating winery to take home (five bottles total from preselected options).
3. Ticket Use
– Printed or digital tickets must be presented at the starting winery to redeem experiences.
– Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced.
– Ticket must be used first at the selected starting winery on the specified day. At subsequent wineries the proof-of-purchase sticker must be presented.
– Tickets must be used on the day they were purchased for and can not be used on a different day of the event.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
– All ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued, except in the case of full event cancellation by organizers.
– The event will take place rain or shine. Adjustments to winery experiences may occur due to weather or operational needs.
5. Responsible Enjoyment
– Guests are expected to consume responsibly. Wineries may refuse service to any guest appearing intoxicated or disruptive.
– Guests are responsible for their own transportation. Organizers encourage the use of designated drivers or hired car services.
– The Organizers will take reasonable steps to accommodate specific food requirements and allergens when notified in advance. However Organizers can not guarantee that the pairings will not be contaminated with potential allergens. Not all special dietary requirements may be able to be accommodated. Please review the pairings offered and be aware before purchasing the ticket. Organizers will not be held liable for any potential adverse effects of consuming the food pairings.
6. Liability
– By purchasing a ticket, attendees acknowledge participation is at their own risk.
– Organizers, wineries, and partners are not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or damage incurred during attendance, except where required by law.
7. Event Changes
– Wineries, inclusions, or offerings may be substituted without notice if circumstances require.
– Organizers reserve the right to modify event logistics for safety, weather, or regulatory compliance.
8. Photography & Media
– Attendance constitutes consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional purposes without compensation.
9. Email Consent
– By purchasing a ticket and by providing your email address you acknowledge that you will be added to the email distribution list of each participating winery.
– You may opt out of any or all of the email distribution lists at any time by contacting each winery directly.
– You may be contacted by the Benchlands Wine Trail organizers with marketing or a survey in relation to your experience, or potential future experiences, with the Benchlands Wine Trial.
10. Agreement
– Purchase and/or use of a ticket confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
